Hello!

My tank is around 6 months old, pretty happy with how its going bar algae growing on the plants?

The thing thats confusing me is my glass and substrate is staying clear.

The wood does have a green coating from its first cycle that seems to have baked on.

I have a Shaker 252 with Plant 3.0 LED.

Nitrate is stable at around 15ppm

Ph 7 - 7.4

Fluval 307 filter with mechanical filtration only.

Thanks for your help

This algae is normal and is also a proof of a sane tank, reducing nutrients will have a very low effect.

Lowering the intensity of the light is the first response. But the real solution is to have floating plants shading them.
