Hi guys, while I was taking a vid of my two blue rams it was quite noticeable the amount of purple algae on my drift wood and in the gravel. Also have this green Algae appear recently. I’ve used the gravel vacuum to clean but it doesn’t do the job. Any tips? Cheers

It's blue green algae (bga) (aka: Cyanobacter bacteria), pretty colours too.

It grows from excess nutrients and loves tanks that get lots of dry food that isn't eaten, and the food rots in the tank providing the bga with a nutrient source.

Reduce the dry food.

Do a 75% water change and gravel clean the substrate every day for a week or two.

In crease aeration and water movement.

Ok great! Thank you! Yes I’ve been feeding them dry food every day but I guess my corydoras aren’t eating that excess food. Cheers

is it harmful/do i need to do anything about it, because i quite like the look of it.

Some Cyanobacteria can be dangerous to fish, yes, and humans for that matter. Dangerous cyanobacteria releases cyanotoxins and nurotoxins.
I'm not sure you can easily tell if the Cyanobacteria is the dangerous type or not.
