I know a picture would be more useful but I was hoping someone on here would know off the top of their head..... I have something growing off my live rock and is spreading fast. Its about 1/16 inch wide and maybe 1/2 inch long and deep purple/maroon. It reminds me of flat pine needles but they are blunt at the end and obviously a different color. It grows in clumps and seems to be rooted into the rock. It is nearly impossible to pull off and so far, I only manage it by cutting it with a razor and keeping it at bay. Any suggestions would be very helpful. I havent had time to get the camera out lately and only found time to post this at work haha.
Thanks! Tim
