Hello
A few days ago I notices a black substance on my plants. Yesterday I removed a lot of it by using a siphon as it can be vacuumed, and it slides of the plants it is infesting quite easily. I also did a 20% water change last night.
Water quality is as follows
Ammonia <.2mg The test isn’t bright yellow but does not match the first green colour on the test chart
NitrIte 0
NitrAte 10ppm
Ph 6.8
CO2 is currently about 13ppm as I have just started to inject CO2 so im building up the levels slowly.
I add flourish liquid KNP range every other day and trace elements and excel on the other days with a rest day before I do a water change.
Tank is 125L and current stock is 4 ottos and 3 shrimps.
