Hi ive planted my tank with lots live plants, its currently in mini cycle with 6 harlequin rasboros and 1 bn plec.

90litres, 2.5wpg, i dose daily with flora grow carbo and TN+. I also use columbo undersubstrate. fluval 3+ and fluval mini filters.

Ive been doing two 75% water changes a day to combat nitite and ammonia, ive been adding the carbo and TN+ after morning water change.

I know have white hair fuzz on my flame moss and ricca and a white covering on my tank glass, it is positioned near the window and one half tank gets afternoon sun which i close the curtains at this time, there is no other position for my tank.

My ricca is growing well, my amazon swords have a few opaque leaves and small new one going brown. would root tabs help these.

What can i do about this algae and will it go away on it own when tank matures.

thanks

After doing some reading ive found this in my tank, i brought it last wednesday at an aquatics shop, ive also had an ammonia spike today. i should remove it then.

Chlorophytum comosum "spider plant''

Seems to me although you have too much light, tanks over 1.5-2WPG seem to always have co2 in from what I've seen. So your starving your plants of co2 by having so much light encouraging them to grow without the required co2. I would either get 1.5WPG or less or pressurised co2 :)
