I have had my tank setup for about a month now! 50G, have rocks and driftwood etc. Have about 8-10 plants preety large, but in the ladt weeks have had an small out-burst of algae forming on all the rocks, and its growing pretty quick?
Theres the odd microdot of algae on the galss, but nothing major? And i have a 4 inch pleco in there, but all he seems to o is fill the tank with poo in about 2 days! and does seem to eat any of the algae.
I was thinking of getting some ottos? but a friend has them, and they ate alll of his plants?
Any advise? other than taking the rocks out when i cahnge the water everyweek, and scrubbing them?
