Algae Eaters

Which fish/shrimp would make a good algae eater in a 60l part planted tank?

(Not for immediate stocking as I'm overstocked until the 25gl tank comes online)

The cohabitees are some platies (8 at the mo, will be 4), danios (6 - they might be moving - probably will in fact), a betta (he's staying) and 4 corry's (2 pep, 2 bronze - will probably move one group and replace them with 4 of the same kind).

I would go for some amano shrimps, they are fantastic, get 3 or more they are happier if there is 3 of them. We've got some in our tropical tank and with in a week the tank was clear of algae and waste, when you go to clean your tank after a few weeks there will hardly be any waste in the substrata.

I'll second that, I find my amanos almost more entertaining than the fish+ they do a good job on the algae.
