 I can't seem to get rid of the algae blooms in three of my tanks! None have direct sun and I have have been keeping the lights off. I even tried doing a week long black out! I took off the covers and the tanks were cloudy, in three days we had full algae blooms again! Even with frequent water changes (I even tried putting willow branches in them and that didn't help either) Now what??

Blackouts only really work for BGA...

Anyway, cutting to the chase and making it a real easy 'cure', add a UV Sterilizer & say 'goodbye algae'. (<- Insert expletives at will).
