Just a quick one guys, one of my tanks is having a huge algae problem, is there anything I can introduce snails/fish that can help? I am willing to battle and keep clean but a littel help wouldnt go unasked for! Actually there are two tanks. One is the three divided 14g and the other a 5g, they have one betta in each. :) Any tips appreciated peeps

Well from what I can see and discussed it may be due to some silicane anemone decorations I have, unfortunately havent the luxury of replacing them right now and believe it may rectify itself shortly (hopefully). I am hand battling it, but thought just worth asking of some helpful inhabitants. As to the other tank, it would end up in darkness as needs the window for light for now till couple of weeks. It is not anything bad, just a little unsightly, will be rectifying in at most 3 weeks when can demolish that tank to keep as quarantine and move occupants to a nice middle floor tank. The 14g with decorations, hope will sort itself soon, the other cause is lack of water flow which unfortunately is needed with the bettas I have, so going to on payday add lots of new plants (it could do with padding out more) and hope these extra measures will help with me giving good cleanings. :)

Thanks for all the replies guys. Sorry to hear that Shred :( I guess it is trial and error with the betta in question..
