Albino Senegal Bichir

Hey Im wondering if Yellow rainbowfish, Boeseman Rainbowfish and Denison Barbs will be safe from my Bichir when they're full grown.
My Bichir is still only 3 1/2 inches at the moment.

Most likely not.

That's a similar sized Bichir (Palmas Polli) and an almost 2" Goldie.

I think if you keep it well fed you should be ok.... at the moment I have two senegalus bichirs (9 in and 8in ) in the same tank as a trio of honey gouramis and they are only about 1 1/2 in and have never had a problem with the bichirs..... its been over a year and no problem... BUT I wasnt here to feed for 4 days a few months back and the bigger one did eat a ram ..... so the rams went in another tank....

Thnx for the responses, but doesnt the fish I mentioned potentially grow 6 Inches? is that not big enough?

my senegalus bichirs are bigger than 6 in and are almost a year old...... i dont know if theres a size difference when you get the albino ones...

Sorry for the confusion. I was saying, doesnt the rainbowfish and denison barbs potentially get to like 6 inches? They will still get eaten? I just thought that would be too big for the bichirs to eat even when they're full grown. I know the bichir gets thicker as they get older. Whats the smallest fish I can mix with my Bichir?

It's always a risk.

I am a Polypterus collector, and I couldn't tell you how many fish I have lost to rogue Bichirs.

You may be fine, you may not.
Question is, is it worth the risk to you?

Also it depends what tank you are keeping them in?

I`d rather not risk it then. I never had a fish eaten by another fish, would hate for it to happen.
Im guessing my synos, red tail shark n BN pleco would be fine?

There in a 50g right now, Im can upgrade to 75g if I can add the rainbowfish and denisons.
