Albino Rainbow Shark Question!

So I just recently got into the hobby and I just uptained a albino rainbow shark (Hera) and a rope fish (Medusa). I notice that the shark never picks on Medusa yet she constantly chases the other fish around. Ive notice that Hera even relaxing herself upon the rope fish at points and she'll just lay there in a docile manner. Whenever I feed the fish if the other fish come to close to Medusa while she eats, Hera will chase them off. Is it possible for an Albino Shark to see the rope fish as part of her territory? I was just really curious about this. Thank you!
