I've had an Albino rainbow shark in my tank (125l) for 3 years now.
He is around 4-5 inches long and the most peaceful fish considering I was once warned they may be semi aggressive.
He doesn't really ever move that much, which is expected. It has its own undercover hidey hole under a large piece of wood which it dug out itself (ignored all my efforts to put hidey holes in).
I haven't changed anything to my weekly schedule at all. Still do a weekly 30% water change, add in aqua carbon for my plants and add in trace elements.
There is plenty of filtration (Juwel internal 600lph filter, tetratec ex700 and also a 2300lph hydor koralia for extra turnover)
All I've changed recently is starting to feed My link this food since I thought my previous foods weren't sustaining my 2 Angelfish (about 3.5 inches in diameter each) and the shark enough.
The other stock is:
1 cardinal tetra
2 bronze corys
2 striped loaches
2 angel fish
5 harlequin rasboras
4 rummy nose tetras
3 black phantom tetras.
Yes, the stocking is poor. But I'm afriad adding more cardinals will mean that they will get eaten. Originally, the cardinals and other small fish (who have died from old age as they have all been with me for about 3-4 years) were larger than the angels, and the angels have grown more, so haven't eaten the other fish.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
