Albino Plec Dead

Last night while i was out i recieved a message saying that my Albino plec was looking ill and floating near the top of the tank...

By the time i got home he was dead... i have only had the plec since monday but he was fine until yesterday he looked to fine hoovering the bottom of the tank. When i examined him after death i could see two black circular shapes inside him (no they wern't moving it's not Alien). I presume this just might be his organs showing through after they ceased to work due to death.

I cannot think of any reason why he died.

I would check your water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph, how long diid you climatise the fish for, plus what was the ph of the store to your tank.

I have checked the ammonia and it was near 0 according to the test kit, i currently don't have other test kits but 9 other fish in the tank are fine and i did a 25% water change 2 days ago...

I also have a queen arabesque and a normal common plec in the same tank which have shown no bad effects...
