Albino Corry

I have just set up an aquarium and intially put in 3 tetras and now have an albino corry. the corry was fine for the first few days but now he seems just to lying on the bed of the aquarium. does anyone have any ideas he just does not seem himself

Stating the obvious Corydoras do sit on the gravel. When you say lying do you mean on its side.
How long did you leave the tank before adding fish

yes the tank was cycled

No its not on its side, just sitting there goes for an occasion swim about then just lies back down

waited for just short of 3 weeks before adding fish

Seems pretty normal is the Cory feeding ok...(introduce a varied diet including livefoods) ..If so get him/her some mates. need to be part of a group/shoal.

you say it was cycled, why wait 3 weeks before adding fish. with no fish in there to produce ammonia any cycling would have stalled

corys tend to sit around a lot, i have 13 that spend most of the day sat on the gravel
