Airstones

Are Airstones nessecary? Im thinking of getting a bubbling decoration off ebay, just wondering if its worth it.

I believe airstones add very very little oxygen to the tank water. They are mainly decorative & fish seem to love playing in them. Don't use one if your tank is planted.

My tank is not planted. I guess if i ever have some spare change lying around ill get one.
