Airline Mystery

ok most are going to think im mad but im not honest

i put an air pump in the for the pond (2 airstones)

ive just got back from work and the two airstones arnt working so i chack the pump is still on which it is look at the airline and theres a cut in the tube so i join it together again (lucky i only lost 6 inches and had plenty of slack)

i now have ones airstone working so i look at the the other and the tube has gone find the end again about 2 ft away try to find the airstone but its gone.

so im 1 airstone down and two cut airlines (lucky i keep spare airstones etc

anybody know what could of done this? its just the cuts are clean and not chewed

POssibly some sort of water insects. Theres a type of insect that chew on hoses and punctures them to get to the water. It's possible that the same goes for a water insect, but trying to get to the air while staying submerged.

what ever it is has done it again. have a feeling its rats/mouse as it didnt go right the way though

wouldnt be water insects as the first cut was about 8 meters from the pond and dosent sound right tbh

lol they must be said however we had a run in with school kids out the back

kicking our neighbours fence
dad went out and told them to piss off

next day we have 3 bottles in the ponds (most where halfs bottles) 2 halfs went done the bottam drain i had to go swiming to ge tthem out! also a bag of tank stones and 3 1ftx1ft slabs

i think they the kids may have been more messy than cutting some airlines to get on your nerves
you will have to let us know what you find is doing it
