Fish Fanatic
We have had our tank for a few weeks now, it houses 6 Pearl Danios and 3 Panda Corys. I was wondering if having an air pump or bubble stone is important? We don't have live plants to help oxygenate the water (although I have been told this doesn't actually help much), will just the surface exchange be sufficient?
Also we only got our Pandas the other day, they seem to be feeding ok, but I'm not sure how much to feed them in each session. We're using Tetra catfish pellets for them which came with the fish, which are quite big compared to their small size (they're only about 2cm long), but they seem to suck at the pellets to get small bits off. They don't leap on the food like the Danios do, so it is hard to tell how much they will eat. We feed them all once in the morning and again in the evening. I'm just worried about rotting food - should I clean up any excess with a gravel siphon?
