I have a 1 gal tank in which I'm going to keep a betta. I know they don't like water currents too strong so how could I go about reducing the air flow from the air pump without having to turn it off?

Normally u can get some attachments to place inbetween the air tube which allow u to contral the air flow, but a cheaper way i think is to place some wax into the tube making the tube seem smaller and holding some of the air pressure back (what it seems to do), it works for me, but instead of using normal wax i used the wax my orthadontist gave me for my braces (when i had them)

Hmmmm whenever i bent the plastic piping and used something to hold it in place it always completely stoped the airflow withing a day or so :(

 can u not try getting a stopper plug it in the end then make pin holls in the tube at the end creating small air bubbles -_-

Thats acually a pretty good idea Fish$Chips but it would be hard to find a stopper small enough for an air tube don't u think?
