Air Pump Maintenance

Hi,
I need to do some maintenance on my airpump - how long can it be switched off before harming my fish.

That's it - simple question just need a simple answer for a simple person!!

is the filter part of the air pump?
when doing my weekly water change and filter clean i dont worry at 15-20 mins.

No - I have an UG filter so airpump is completely separate. It shoudn't take me any longer than 20-30 mins to do the maintenance. Should this be OK

No problem i switch of my pump all day i have it on only at night because of the CO2 injection

hi,
no problem then,
as the ugf holds all your good bacteria switching off the air pump wont be an issue for the fish.
