Air Bubbles On My Oscar ?

My oscar is covered with air bubbles looks like hes gona suficate ? does anyone know what this is ?

did this show up right after a water change or just randomly appear?

Also, if you look closely, are the bubbles ontop of his skin or under it?

just randomly, and they are on top of the skin. They are air bubbles.

wierd. Sorry i can't be of much help. I have never heard of this one. Do you have a planted tank or an airstone?

There is a desease called gas bubble desease but that beneath the skin, i would watch out for parasites, increase aeration, what are your water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph.

Is there a air wall or any tipe of bubbles in the tank?

I know when i had my filter with the bubbles on my angles used to swim into them and come out covered, they always disapeared after a few minutes though.
