I had to remove a female krib from the 55 gallon tank as she was beating up on her tank mates. The congos were missing scales and the poor plec had terribly tattered fins. (he's 6 inches) Her mate had wounds as well.
I moved her into a ten gallon established tank. (Had to move the betta into a 2.5 gallon)
Anyway --- she's been hiding in a rock cave for the past 3-4 days and will not come out. Ammonia and nitrate are zero and the pH of the tank is the same as the 55 gallon. She just hides all day long. There was only one surviving fry that I also moved into the tank with her -- although I don't see it anymore.
I'm not sure what to do. I'm afraid she's just going to fade away and die. Any suggestions?
edit -- she's the only fish in the tank.
