IME very easy to care for, fairly peaceful and prolific at breeding.

IMO, the mollies that I have had are a bit too agressive for my tank (see below) the remaining adult is forever chasing all my other fish around and has killed two of them! :'(

I still quite like mollies, but am now contemplating putting them in a tank on their own because of their agression tho, this might just be my experience, but if you have "very" peaceful community fish, then I'd be careful.... (just my opinion tho..)

I have mollies and guppies in one tank, successfully. I think what I've done is to have only one male (boss of the tank) and several females (spreads out the harrassment). I also have a few plants, rocks and caves where other fish can hide if Dyson gets a bit too big for his boots.

I consider mollies to be semi-aggressive. There is also an SAE in the tank who fits in just fine - he's not aggressive but he's a reasonable sized fish who can stand his ground.
