 I have babies in my cichlid tank and since one of the female Socolofi were mouth brooding (I thought she'd aborted) I assume they're hers. They're all using a large Malawi rock (Fantastic heavy ridged rock thing) to hide in but I have no idea what to feed them!!! Is it worth me trying to collect some in a breeders net and transfer them to a spare fry tank when I get it? My current fry tank is chock full of older gourami fry. I'll be getting some 18g tanks next Sat but that's a week away. :X
Please, any suggestions. All my tanks are in use even the hospital tank. :/
Hugs,
P.

Don't worry about it. Some more will die and some will live, but they'll find what they need to get to a size where they're comfortable to come out for quick bites to eat. You can try getting some baby brine shrimp or powdered staple foods to them if you wish. In the future when you find her holding and if you wish to raise the fry then you can make it easier on yourself by moving the female to spit in a prepared tank. They don't stop breeding, it's not a one shot deal.
