Ahhh ! It's Happening .... Again!

Can you answer the following questions:

1) What lighting wattage do you use?
2) How long are your lights on for?
3) What fertiliser do you use for the plants in the aquarium?
4) Do you use CO2?

These will help us start to help you! A water change will not usually be a major benefit to plants.

I am guessing you need to be adding some fertiliser, CO2 and 2.5wpg without fertiliser is pretty much pointless, the plants have loads of light and loads of carbon but none of the other essential nutrients provided by something like the Estimative Index method of fertilisation (see pinned thread) which is pretty much the cheapest and most flexible method of fertilising high-light tanks (like yours) that use some form of carbon addition.

Your plants will have massive nutrient deficiencies and will likely explain why they are going clear.

Yea definately agree with you nry. Plants need food to grow and flourish... but you arnt supplying food. Nutrient deficiency :)

Start dosing ei and see an improvement

I BELIEVE!
