My little quarantine tank has a leak... cannot find where but it is somewhere.  At least no fish are sick and in need at the moment!  I have caught it quite early since the water hasn't leaked too much anyway.

Have a hard good look and if all else fails then just put something like a towel around the base and just let it leak until it stops, this then should show where the leak is as it will be just above the water level!
Hope this helps! :)

It is somewhere around the bottom half... I just don't know where.... I think along the bottom front seam as that is where most of the water is, and has seeped a bit under the tank too... I just don't see it actually coming out but I am 100% sure it is not water leaking down the tank.

I wish I counted how many assassins I had in there!  Having a hard time digging for them!  Have found 3.

I think I will store it away and make a project out of fixing it sometime in the summer.

Most simple tanks are generally best replaced rather than repaired, as it ends up costing more to do. Unless you're interested in the project.

You might be right about that.  Probably would cost me nearly half the price of the tank just for the sealant.

Plus the blades to get the old sealant off, and the cleaning materials to get the surfaces shiny enough to get the silicone to actually stick. What can be worthwhile is siliconeing a fresh piece of glass along the edge you're leaking from as a whole extra brace, mainly works if it's the base that's leaking, particularly at the back (or at what can become the back).
