Agressive Upside Down Catfish

I had Just bought an upside down catfish today. which is neat. The pet store said they are very peaceful..but he has been chasing all of my other fish. and it looks like a stressful enviornment. i have a small school of neon tetras and 2 gold fish. I am not sure what i should do. I have to work tomorrow..and im wondering if its ok to put him in a bowl till the afternoon until i can bring it back. are my fish safe? should i take him out?

How big is the tank its in now and what temp ?

What kind of bowl do you mean ? It would need a heater / filter / aeration to stop the fish poisoning itself.

Upsid down cats are said to be very social. I read somewhere that you should have at least two or three together. This is what I read. Can anyone confirm that.

I have two big one's and they are always together where swimming around the tank or hiding. Always together.

Ive got 2 upside down cat fish and and it is true there best in 2's or a small group. I'm not sure about sociable as i never see mine the like to keep hidden in the caves, logs and other spots where they can, Ive never seen them chase other fish about they just peacefully go along about their business hopping from one log to the next. They can be very very nippy little buggers when your trying to transfer them to another tank tho, sure surprised me as never seen them move faster than a slow bimble. Hope this is of some help.
