Agressive Parrot Fish

Please help, I don't want to go to bed in case something happens.

I've had my Parrot fish for about a month, 4 Rainbow Fish and 4 Tiger Barbs, all seemed happy. So a couple of weeks ago I got 2 Golden Sovereigns they were all fine until tonight.

Now the parrot fish won't stop chasing the golden sovereigns and keeps ending up lip locked with the larger Golden Sovereign. Are they biting one another?

My Parrot Fish is getting Orange blotches and the Golden Sovereigns are getting a flushed look.

It;s horrible to watch and I don't want to lose any of them,

No spare tanks then, can you partition the tank off.

Agree it's probably best to separate the tank, racking my brains to think of something to do it with. Don't want to stick any old thing in. It would happen on a Sunday night!

parrots are very aggressive towards any fish especially cichlids though.He could be trying to breed with the other ones if they fight and you think its gone to far separate the parrot

There could be one problem.

What is the size of your tank? That would help out alot.
