Agressive & Confused Male Platy - What To Do?

Hi guys,

I have 3 platies, 2 female 1 male. The male and 1 female are red wags and the second female is a rainbow platy. The red wag female is pregnant and being constantly hounded by the male! He is REALLY REALLY persistent and I am sure it is exhausting to her.

ON TOP OF THAT, he seems to hate the rainbow platy female. Whenever he sees her, he BULLYs her and chases her away. Is he confusing the rainbow female for another male

I am getting a little annoyed with this bully. What could I DO

Do you have enough room to add a couple more red wag females and maybe a rainbow male? Also make sure the females have a lot of hiding places.

Well I could add 2 more, but that's about it. I dont want to crowd. But if I add 2 more females, that that could result in a platy fry extravaganza, and I dont have the room for that right now

The tank is quite nicely planted, so there is lotsa hidingspace, but the prego wag female just doesnt even really try to hide.... she just kinda tries to outswim him...

The rainbow female that's being bullied does hide in the plants a lot...

Will this behaviour change with time? i hope so
