Hey! So I have a 105l (28ish gallon) planted aquarium. Usually very peaceful but my male guppy, of which there are only two in the tank, has started nipping at all of my female platys and swordtails. Any advice? Is he getting frisky with the other live bearers as there are no female guppys in my tank? Thanks in advance.

Maybe try a few more Guppy males so the aggresive behaviour will be spread out between the males of their own species.
But on the other hand i suppose it is possible they are trying to mate with the Platy.
Or you could try adding more of each other species. I currently have Guppy males & noticed they do try & annoy each other daily but then they group together & swim around, They all rest together at night too. So i guess its just normal behaviour from them

Thanks for the advice, yes I might get a few more males and see what happens. My tank is pretty much at full capacity though. Its quite intermittent to be fair and the platys don't seem bothered..just hope it's not stressing them out.
