My dwarf gourami seems to be aggressive towards my male and female rams. Would a female dwarf gourami make him less aggressive towards them?

Hi. The rams are very new to my tank. The female could possibly be pregnant however it is the dwarf gourami who is approching the rams and putting out his 'feelers' aggressivly to them??

My rams and gouramis get on fine and always have but we got them at the same time
Prehaps you could try and change your plants and stuff around as the gourami could be doing this as it his territory

I have an aggressive female Guamri and an aggressive blue ram, when i put either of them in my community tank they will harass everything the same size or bigger non stop, if i put either of them in the smaller tank with a few neons they are happy, when i put them both together in the smaller tank they stared at each other for a min or two, the Guamri arched her body and manoeuvred herself directly in the rams eye line, after that there was no more chasing or harassment. i will say tho when i have a 2nd Guamri she was very settled and didn't bother any f the other fish only when the 2nd died she started to boss everything.

Dwarf gourami are usually quite passive, I would assume the behavior stems from fear of the rams... most animals attack when stressed

(We got a kitten a few weeks back, my hands tell the tale !)
