Age Of Breeding

I have a pregnant electric yellow cichlid that is in her own 10 gallon tank at the moment. She is around 2.5 inches including the tail.
My question is, at whate size do they sexually mature and are able to breed?
I bought my electric yellow when she was pregnant, that is why iam asking

My male elctric yellow is a dark orange color and is about 4~ inches including tail. I think he was the one that got the female pregnant

Anyway, my guess is a female starts to sexually mature when they are 2 inches?
Correct me if im wrong, i'm still a noob at this

Its about 1.5"-2" and then they dont stop.

I would get a pic of your male on here for id it should be bright yellow same as the female sounds as if it could be a Metriaclima Estherae or a hybrid either way you need to know because of the fry the last thing the hobby needs is more hybrid fish.

Thats what it looks like, but the fins have a black tip. thats what made me think he was an electric yellow. I guess he's just showing off his colors?

Sorry if that sounded sarcastic i was not meant to be.

The hybrid debate is a huge one i don't really want to start again but hybrids have there place in your tank and never to be sold or given away because they will eventually be sold as something else
