Hi guys as some of you know my male betta fenikksus got white spot or velvet after spawning after over dousing him the day before yester day and today the spot have gone all but one so how many days after the illness has been beat can i re introduce him back into my community tank on which he came from???? A day or two or a week etc

Also please dont be made at me over dousing him nothing else worked so it was a drastic measure that ( touch wood) pulled off and he looks and seems alot better :)

Also after his conditioning he wont eat flake any more only blood worm how can i get him to eat flake again as i cant afford the blood worm all the time

Many thanks from
Chris

ooo can upost a picture of him? he also reminds me of this betta i had, i tried to breed him but he was too agresive :( so i just kept him happy in his tank.

I would leave him be in quarantine for another week just to make sure

hehe, don't worry about overdosing.. I did a 4x overdose of QuickCure on a fish with ich/white spot and I literally watched the ich fall off him... he was fine :p

Thanks guys anyes i will upload a pictutre of him :)
Thanks marie ill leave him to rest after i change 50% of the water :)

Does anyone know how i can get him eating flake again he wont eat flake and he hasnt eaten properly since spawning!! I dont know why

Do you feed him betta pellets? or just flake?

Id keep a close eye on him if he isn't eating, males can become depressed after breeding and quite often can lead to death ..

He has been eating a few blood worn and ive been feeding pea flake and blood worm but he hasnt realy been intrested in the flake or pea he is intrested in blood worm but not hudgly

If hes dipressed how can i make him happier?
