African Marigold

I have some marigolds in my garden and one of them is over 7 ft tall now

has anyone ever seen one this tall or should i be calling guiness?

WOW. I might be calling Guenisses if i were you ( or it could be a different species of Marigold that im unaware of)> Where did you buy it at, and how much.

Got it off my dad when it was just a lil thing, but i watered it everyday and kept the snails away...

Well, here is a little bit of information about the species marigold. Some are only 0.5 meters tall ( 1.5 ft), and other can get to 2.2 m tall ( around 6.5 feet). So, yours may not be too extrodinary at all.

depends on the type of marigold (tagetes) this is the problem with common names if it is an african marigold then its a wopper
