All help appreciated

the biggest problem with ADF's is feeding, they're not the quickest off the mark when it comes to dinner time and in community tanks they often starve to death as they are completely outcompeted for food.

That's not to say it can't ever be done, with very careful fish selection, a carefully thought out diet and probably some regular target feeding it can work. However in most cases I'd advise people to keep them in a little tank by themselves where there's no competition or predators. They're very cute and make for a lovely little tank. :good:

I have one in my community tank and he is fine. Just have 2 make sure when feeding, that he is out and ready and waiting lol and try and aim a bit of food his way then some of the food some where else to distract the fish! They are great 2 have though!

feeding is the main problem, try feeding frozen or live bloodworms after lights out, most fish will be slow or sleeping, but the frogs are noctural and will eat them, or most of them.other options are having a cave of some sort thats a little small for the fish, but the frogs can rach, and squirt food in there.

feeding isnt really a problems i have 2 in with 10 endlers and 3 platties, i just drop a cube of froze bloodworm in every 2 days the fish do get to it but a lot of it sinks to the bottom were the frogs happily devour what they want.

I have had one in my community tank with danios & swordtails, and he has lived with them peacfully for 2 yrs.
