Hello, i've just noticed my ADF has cloudyness in both of her eyes, can anyone tell me whats up with her?
Is she blind? She wasnt like this on wednesday (didnt notice on thur either)

eye cloud mela fix from aquarium pharmaceuticals available at any wal mart or pets mart

Could be due to poor water quality...and I believe frogs are particularly sensitive to water quality, anyway.
Filtration, cleaning, everything up to par? How's the nitrates?

What are water stats, I no in fish that cloudy eye is a systom of a desease rather than a desease in it's self, but not sure on frogs.

Ph - 6.0 (too low, how can i fix this?)
Ammonia - 0
Nitrate - 0
Nitrite 10

(i may of gott he nitrite + nitrate wrong way around, but the one with 0 is the one that is the toxic of the two).

Filtration and cleaning are fine, i will be changing the water again tomorrow (i do 30 - 30% weekly, with gravel vac).

So frogs shed?

I'll have to do that later, unable at the moment.
So if the ph is higher than 6.0, i need to checkKH? I'll have to get a KH test kit, if it is higher how can i solve this?

Right, well its my nitrites that are 0, and nitrate that are 0.

KH is what keeps pH steady. If tap's pH is higher, it's likely the KH is low, and ur experiencing a drop.
While picking up the test kit, might grab a handful of crushed coral...this is what I use. Baking soda's another option.

Here's one person's exp. w/ ADF's...skin-shedding is mentioned, tho I don't think it's related to the problem here. As a side-note, I think I've heard they may eat the shed skin for nutrients.
