African Cichlids

I think your tank is big enough for the Moorii based on your current stocking levels even when fully grown provided you have plenty of filtration. (lovely fish by the way).

Thanks they are nice. Are they not very agressive when fully grown to males of own species or other species.
Have you had any experience with them so far they keep to themselves quite alot in the biggest nicest cave in the tank, they come out every so often. It should be atleast a year until they max out if not more but if they become a problem im sure i wont have a problem rehoming.

Here are some pics.

I have not personally kept them but they are not especially aggressive and sometimes have problems with Mbuna because of this, despite their size. They should be fine though with your current stock.

How many more do you think i can get at best considering they will one day be adults even if it will take like 2 years for the morriis to get there. I might even get a BN plec.

Getting a BN Plec or even 2 would be no problem. Based on your current fish potential size, i'd be tempted to leave things alone now (apart from the plec). I certainly wouldn't add any more species but you might get away with 1 more Lab and 1 more Cyaneorhabdos. I wouldn't go beyond that.

When i eventually get rid of the morris will i be able to get another species then or maybee 2 small groups.
Because the morrii's will go when they get to about 7" becasue i think a life in my tankat that stage would be unfair. But i mite have a new tank by then.

Yeah if you are going to get rid of the Moorii's, you could add 4 from a new species and 1 extra lab and Cyaneorhabdos, should be no problem (depending on the species you add)

Well no the fish at the lfs were incorectly labled but as i only know what these fish look like as adults i couldnt id them at the lfs it said they would grow to around 14cm great!!!! i thought. I will be happy to sell or give away when the time comes. So i could get some more fish soon if i want, as the morriis will go when they get large.
P.S Why do you keep hinting i should get a new lab is it because they would do better as a group of 4, well i agree at the time at the store it made more sence to get 3 as it was3for£15 or 7.50 each as i did it this way i hade enough for another species.

on the first picture of the moori is that a fuelleborni below it because it looks alot like mine?i thought the black blotches on the moori are signs that they are stressed (correct me if i'm wrong) and is anything chasing it?

Well no they are the biggest and most agressive there and just chill out in caves alot.
P.S The spots are normal to the fish and no its not a fuelleborni

Ginge - Labs always do better in large groups, something like 6 is preferrable but if you add one more, i think you'll see a difference. They should be more active as they feel more secure in groups, they are one of the few Mbuna species that prefer their own kind.

Yes i think i will.
"the black blotches on the moori are signs that they are stressed" is this statement true i have stated it is not but i was not 100% sure.

It can be but it can also be a sign of spawning or aggression, difficult to be certain.
