African Cichlids are way over rated!

Is it just me or have you noticed that a simple little african is like 300% more in cost than a new world? frontosa are avalible all the time but yet there $40 down here for a 1" fish, but yet an oscar is like $6, is it only australia or are we all getting ripped off?

New worlds can handle a larger range of PH making it easier to farm them.

I was wondering that same thing. My friend has africans and they breed like cons! why are they so expensive. Oscars, JD, Sevs all that stuff is about 5-10 $ here
