oh my god how amazing.

that is a once in a life time trip! those pics are ones that you will treasure forever.

hope you dont mind me asking and pls dont be offended but how much did the whole trip cost? i only ask as im hoping to do some travelling next year!

Thanks Laura :D No I don't mind you asking, but it was horrendously expensive :/ (well for me anyway). The actual 2 week fully inclusive tour was approx £1,200 (Desert, Dune & Delta Tour by Wild Dog Safaris), and then the flights a further £850 + bits and bobs. So all together around £2,000 (per person) :X

But to be fair, you'd probably be able to knock a couple of hundred ££'s off on flights as we had an extra add on flight to South Africa beforehand, but it wasn't that much more. Flights to Southern Africa are just very expensive, but if you shops around you can get some deals.

So it by no means a cheap holiday, but I can say it was the most awesome, exciting, diverse & memorable holiday I've yet had.

stunning.

(wolf goes away back to his humdrum life now)

Thanks for your lovely comments Paul - really appreciated

I think more than anything I just wanted to share these photos with you guys so that perhaps one day some of you might consider visiting Southern Africa. It truly is a stunning part of the world and that's what I miss having on my doorstep when I lived in South Africa. But hey, we can't have it all.

Truly stunning pics Bloozoo!

Anything less than 3* is camping in my book, but I could reconsider staying in a tent to see what you did.

Thanks for sharing them all and I'm glad you had such a great time.

what a fantastic holiday Bloo, and enjoyed taking a glimpse of your time there. :)

All those pictures are lovely Bloo, and I can only imagine how fantastic it must have been to actually be that close to the animals. You're really blessed to be able to go back to such a lovely home country and experience wild life like that!

And do feel free to put pictures of your other trips on here as well ;) You can't ever have too many pictures when it's such great subjects as well as quality pictures. Get yourself a website with them all on hon :p
