So far i found x2 profiles that look just like it, take a look

Hmmm tricky it is a lovely looking fish though. What about the possibility that it is a dealer breed colour morph?

I'd say it's the afra as the "crabro blue" isn't seen often.

LFS like to label almost every blue mbuna Blue Zebra.

i am breeding this fish!

by the looks of it, i would say it is some sort of Cynotilapia afra!

are they only small? as these fish are dwarfs (small fish)

see my picture down the bottom, that is a fully mature Cynotilapia afra.

Hi

Currently about 2.5" and were about 2" when i got them about 6 months ago

okay are any of them starting to show blue with stripes? btw they mature at around 3inch`s

Well i originally got x4 sold as "Blue Zebras", and actually i was wondering if there had been colour changes.

Bascially, two of the four are exactly as you see in the pics at the top of this thread.

I also have this fish in my tank, and i cant remember what i purchased it as, and was wondering if its one fo the Blue Zebra's (or Afra's perhaps) i originally got? But its a bit bigger (not by much its about 2.75 to 3.00 inch), so i am really not sure.
