Advise On Keeping Betta's

Ive had a Betta before in my community tank and it died about 2 weeks after I put it in.

Are they best kept on there own in a small tank ?

What are the requirements for keeping a single male and also breeding ?

Hi they are best kept singarly in big tanks, altho they can be kept in small tanks they would appreciate the space.
Too breed bettas i think you need multiple tanks: one for the male, one for the female, on for fry.
they like plants and mine likes hiding places, a heater is essential and a filter is advised.
