Im looking for some interesting and different ideas. I want to add colour etc, and change the overall design. I know Gf, JImbooo, Zig, Jen and MANY others can hand me advice, so shoot! Please....

I was thinking my foreground plants arnt fore ground plants anymore :p , and was going to order some Glossotigma, Do you think it wll survive with no CO2? and 30W of light?

OK, so I'm learning this stuff too. But from what I've gleaned so far. If you want to add more colour (e.g, red leafed plants) you'll need more light, because the red plants don't photosynthesize as easily. Glosso can also grow tall if it doesn't get a lot of light which can make it a problem.

There are other plants though that don't need as much light that are interesting. I wanted to try Marsilea Hirsuta which is similar to Glosso, but doesn't have such demanding light requirements. It is normally sold in it's terrestrial form which is quite tall and looks like clover. When submerged, the terrestrial leaves die back and smaller leaves form on shorter stalks. Supposed to be nice and propogates by runners. Sadly the stuff I ordered from my LFS was held up over Christmas and by the time it reached me it had rotted!

Thanks FishyMad. I will probably end iup changing lights this year when i change over my marine lights.

This got buried quick, lol. No more ideas?

Take the plants that are in the front middle and put them along the back and along the sides. Take the smaller plants that are on the right and left and put them in the middle.

Mr Miagi, the plant on the back left, is that Cyprus Helferi?

What psued said.

Instead of glosso you might wanna try HC (http://www.plantgeek.net/plantguide_viewer.php?id=275), looks very similar but not as demanding :)

Will do. I think ill deffinately push them back as you suggested. Ill place those smaller ones in the center, and if not, i might scrap them all together. Thanks pseud!

Thanks Incitic. I've written the name down, and I will order some from my LFS.
