Although we have a pond I'm new to tropicals, I set the tank up ,waited then bought 5 silver tips,on saturday I bought 3 balloon mollies,1 male 2 female so the guy said, one of the mollies is really fat ,sadly one died, but the other 2 or ok,if fat molly is pregnant,is there any way of telling when she will have them,I'd like to save a few if possible.

you say you just bought the tank , huh?did you slowly bring your tank up to speed because adding those many fish is sort of a load on the filter system and it probably wasn't able to keep the tank clean enough for that fish to survive. :byebye:

No we already had a tank ,i left it for about 10days before adding the fish, they are all fine, except for that one,it was swimming slow when we brought it from the shop. :(

Worried about fat molly . :/

what are the parameters of your tank. Ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. a pic would help if you can get one. Mollies can be big eaters but for one to be that big you think she might be pregnant that is odd. Is it a balloon molly by any chance. they look like this :)

Here's 2 pics of fatmolly Terry, she is a balloon molly but a lot fatter than our other one, unless she just eats to much (call her miss piggy ).
