Hi

Several questions about this, I have put new fish into the tank about a month ago and have noticed a dusting of a light golden dust on some of my fish, more on my harlequin, some of these look really clear colours and other seem to be covered in this dust!!??

I presumed it was velvet but not sure so naievely meth blued my whole tank (54 litre but only enought med for 20 litres) as I was concerned it would effect my panda corys! That was done on the 4th Nov, I realise that I shouldn't have done my whole tank and dipped them in it instead  So after many water changes and adding my carbon filter it's gone, phew.

I've still noticed that it doesn't seem to have cleared the problem tho, so I'm wanting to use King British Velvet Med, but it says on the instructions that I should reduced the amount if I have any light scaled fish, are my corys covered in this or can I use full strength on the tank to eradicate the problem??

Advice and quick would be really appreciated.

p.s The fish I have in my tank are:

2 Male Guppies
1 Platy
5 Neons
5 Harlequins
3 Panda Corys

All water parameters are fine.

See how they go with the recommended dose for scaless fish, if they cope keep putting the dose up slightly.
