I bought a nice group of 10 Y. sidthimunkie's about a week ago (5 for $30) and introduced them to my main tank. I didn't notice however until about the 2nd day of having them that a few of the fish had some white spots which are most likely ich. i have been back to the lfs and have seen that some of the loaches have ich and that they must have been purchased infected. i would like to cure these fish rather than return them as they are rare, and the whole stock is in jeapordy.
To my and the fishes annoyment, I retrieved all 10 munkies and placed them in a 20 gallon tank (after adding 50% of water from the main) that i have been running with nothing but a fathead minnow for some months. its been 4 days and all 10 munkies are still with me thankfully, been doing daily 5 gal w/c. i have slowly been raising the tank temp and now it is at 87 degrees F, however i have not introduced any meds to the tank yet. ive been flipping through various manual and enyclopedias, and i have learned that some loaches (i guess clowns?) are quite fragile about some meds.
I am curious as to any suggestions on treating the ich, especially in regards to loaches or sidthimunkies in particular. not all the fish are sick, however i quarantiend them all together. I have Kordons Ich-Attack, which i have used previously about a year ago with success. i also cannot recall wether i should medicate the tank and then do a w/c, or if last time i just medicated the new water i introduced. i followed some instructions to the T last time i medicated, and i believe that advice came from within this forum, however, now i cannot locate that information.
i also recall not feeding and turning off the lights, however, i cannot find information that backs that up.

P.S. i also purchased a pair of female Apistogramma cacatuioides along with one male on the same trip. i believe one female is a juvenile because she is very light colored and a little bit smaller than the other. this smaller female has developed a cloudy eye. i have been doing daily w/c and have feed live brine shrimp as i have read this could result from a dietary problem. also possibilities i have researched are physical damage, or piscine tuberculosis(Ihope NOT!). her behavior seems normal, i just wish her eye would heal quicker. any advice on this? they are in a 45 gal bowfront at 77 degrees F. i dont have a testkit so i dont know any levels, both tanks are either planted or have plants(for munkie refuge).
P.S.S Sorry for no pics, i cannot find my camera charger, i will try to find soon so i can show pics
