Hi, it's time to stock up and bring a bit more life into my Juwel Rio 125. I currently have:

6 Harlequin Rasboras
1 Bristlenose
5 Peppered Corydora
6 Neon Tetras
6 White Cloud Mountain Minnows

Looking for 6 more to add. Any advice on a good hardy (no livebearers) colourful peaceful community fish to stock?

Thanks in advance.

you could basically take your pick of any of the smaller tetras or rasboras, depends what's available in your local area, rummy nose tetras might be a nice option?

are you wanting another shoal or some 'feature' fish for the tank, you could have a pair of something a little larger to mix up the sizes in the tank.

danio? or maybe some rainbow fish..... umm i kno these r big but gouramis? like dwarf or honey gouramis? theyre bigger and not shoaling, but they r for the most part friendly and usually colorful.

Thanks Miss W. I might consider some 'feature' fish. Any recommendations?

Thanks ally86ozzy. Rainbow fish sounds interesting. I'll look into that.

shoal of threadfin rainbows could work, be careful with rainbows though some of them get too big for your tank, i would think the threadfins and the praecox's would be the only options.

for feature fish the ones i always recommend are rams, kirbensis, apistogramma etc..... basically all the dwarf cichlids work as a nice pair or trio or even as a single fish, they're colourful, active and usually pretty hardy. :good:

i wouldn't go for dwarf gourami's but honey's would be ok, likewise a pair of sparkling gourami's could work nicely. :good:

I recommend Bolivian Rams if you can get them. Great fish with brilliant personalities. They are really colourful if you choose them right. Mine have coloured lovely since ive had them.
