I'm looking to add some new fish to my tank and was wondering if anyone has had experience with apisogramma panduro or Nichols mouthbrooder as they were 2 fish I was interested in stocking but know nothing about thanks from Tom

The Nichol's mouthbrooder (Pseudocrenilabrus nicholsi) is a very aggressive fish and not suitable for a community set up.

You should be fine with the apistos, although it does depend on the rest of your stock.

I have apistogramma cacatuiodes in my community tank at the minute and through when they die I could put the apistogramma panduro in instead or would it be possible to have both species in the same community tank and the others in my tank are

1 pleco (0,0,1)
6 five banded barbs (4,2,0)
4 neon tetras (0,0,4)
5 black phantom tetra (3,2,0)
3 gold tetra (0,0,3)
2 black neon tetra (0,0,2)
3 white cloud mountain minnow (0,0,3)
2 apistogramma cacatuiodes (1,1,0)
3 honey gourami (2,1,0)
6 platy (2,4,0)
2 guppies (1,1,0)

37 total and that's at capacity I'm not adding anything else

Sounds quite overstocked to me. Also take note that mouthbrooding cichlids could easily eat small fish like some of the fish you have

Yes I know I might have overstocked it a little but will make sure that I keep the tank clean and I also treated myself to a test kit that uses the water and drops to add to the water rather than the test stripes. Also in a heavily planted 70 litre you could have a pair of kribs and a pair of Nichols mouth brooder or should you not mix the two and if that does not work how about a pair of kribs and a pair of apistogramma panduro or don't mix them either

A 70l tank doesn't have enough floor space for two different cichlid species; they will be wanting the same space and will end up in competition with each other for it.

The mouthbrooder is an African cichlid and, although it's not a Rift Valley one, it will be far far to aggressive to keep with any other fish, unless they're also very aggressive, like the Rift Valley ones.

Ok how about mixing the kribensis and the apistogramma panduro in the 70litre or how about the apistogramma cactuiodes and panduro in my 110 litre tank

Honestly, to keep more than one species of cichlid you'd need a much bigger tank; 200+l.

Ok if I did upgrade my 110 litre to a 150/200 litre would the 2 apistogrammas be compatible or would it not make sense to put 2 pairs of apistogramma in one tank.
