Hi all,

I few question that i need some help with. First of all i am currently cycling a Juwel Rio 125 its been five days now, ive added two guppies and two mollies, and a swordtail to start of with. Nitrite is currently 0.1mg how long would it be safe for to wait before i add more fish.

Until nitrite and ammonia are at 0. And TBH guppies aren't hardy enough to cycle with. But, too late now. Just keep an eye on it and don't add too many fish when it has cycled.

You have quite a wait yet as nitrates have to raise then fall to 0, keep an eye on the guppys, as none of them fish are good for cycling it take it's toll on the more hardy fish.

Sorry, Wilder, but didn't you just write nitrates for nitrItes there?

As OohFeeshy says, it's the nitrites that have drop to 0, Lil, your nitrates don't have to and probably never will.

That what it says NITRITE is currently 0.1mg. UPDATE Today NITRITE was over 0.3mg so i had to do a 50% water change hopefully this will help.
