Hi all,
I'm due to be upgrading my tank to a larger one anytime soon & was considering going from sand to Roman Gravel - I currently have quite a few happy MTS in the sand & was wondering if gravel would hinder them in anyway? (with the Roman Gravel being a small size). On a slightly different note as well (kill 2 birds wth 1 stone :lol: ) does anyone know where I can get black sand instead?
Thanks in advance
Dan

MTS= malaysian trumpet snail

It won't hinder them provided its fairly fine grain gravel and a sieve should probably get the majority of the current stocking from the substrate.

I have no exp but I believe black sand is volcanic sand hope that helps :blink:
