Please can some one advice me if they know what it is and how to cure him ! He doesnt seem in distress
but I really want to sort it out for him

Thanks Vicky

Need to no water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph, how many gallons is the tank, plus how many fish and which type, does the blister look like an open sore it might be bacterial so you will need a med.

The blister is not an open one its like a lump, the tank is 20 gallons and I have 7 fish in it. for the rest of the information I will have to get back to you.

Any chance of a pic? 7 fish in a 20 gallon is overstocked. What kind of fish, size and filtration?

7  20 gallon :X probably bad water quality leading to bacterial infection or something, you really need to sort out the stocking in that tank, i doubt there is any physical way the water can be good in that tank

Is the lump solid, you cant see into it? Is it smooth or lumpy looking? How fast did it appear as well?

If its smooth then it could be a tumour and would need a vet to remove it if its possible to. If its rough and bumpy then its another type of tumour called Lymphocystis or cauliflower disease which isnt malignant and just looks awful but again would need veterinary treatment.
