ok, so ive been wanting to start a plant and shrimp tank. im dealing with 3-5 gallons and have never owned plant before. the tank is going to have a nano filter, black gravel, and a piece of driftwood. i want easy to care for plants...low light and hardy, im not going to buy co2 defusers
1. what besides the plants, do i need to grow plants? (fertilizers, food,..etc)
2. does the tank need any pre-conditioning? or could i just go out and put plants in the tank?
3. what besides java moss is common and hardy? eventualy id like to have it grow so much i could add some to another tank.
all adivce is accepted!! help get me started off right
